Salma Hayek got her big break in Hollywood with a role in Robert Rodriguez's Desperado and then climbed to the pinnacle of the business through her Oscar Award-nominated performance in Frida. Salma Hayek's childhood began on September 2nd, 1966, when she was born to her Spanish father and a Lebanese mom in Coatzacoalcos.
