Awkwafina

American musician and actor Awkwafina debuted with sly rap tracks that tackled racial identity and sexuality with the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to increasing her presence in Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her very first music experience. She performed on the trumpet. Alongside classical music and jazz, the young Nora began studying hip-hop in her teens. At college, she was studying writing and women's studies. Then, she even had some time learning Mandarin during her time in Beijing. She turned her attention to music only after she finished her studies. In 2012, My Vag (as a retort to Mickey Avalon's My Dick) became an internet sensation and featured in her debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also contained also were viral songs like Queef (body-positive) as well as NYC Bitche$1. The singer decided to make a career as an actor after completing her first two ventures as a musician and author.
